Q: How do I remove metadb copies on Solaris 9?
A: 1. Edit /kernel/drv/md.conf leave only 1st (uncommented) line
      that tells Solaris the number of metadevices to create.
   2. Use metaroot command to boot from ctd device instead of
      metadevice (or manually remove "rootdevice" entry in
      /etc/system). 
   3. Convert remaining entries in /etc/vfstab to use ctd devices
      instead of metadevices (metaroot only fixes entry for /).
